Our Shows

Theatre for SEN Schools

When creating our shows, we make sure that at every moment the content is appropriate and engaging for your learners. For example, we always create opportunities to merge the story with interactive experiences, such as chances to move, enjoy sensory exploration and engage with puppetry.

We also know that no two students are the same. That’s why we adapt our language and storytelling such as incorporating ‘Makaton’ into our interactions. This is the most important goal for us at Umbrella, to make sure every student has the most enjoyable day they can.

Primary School Productions

We believe accessible theatre truly is for everyone. Through our team’s combined experience as performers and as teachers, we have found exciting new ways to bring stories to life. Placing our audiences at the heart of our shows is the key to successful engagement that will have children talking for days and weeks to come!

Unlike other companies, we like to turn our shows into an immersive experience involving everybody. With chances to dance, sing, play games and to help us to tell our story, students take ownership over the experience leaving behind a hall full of young people, fully engaged and having lots of fun.

Far far away in a magical land of fairies, enormous palaces and dazzling princes is our old favourite, Cinderella.

Living a tough and lonely life,  she dreams of a happy ever after. With the help of her rock 'n' roll Fairy Godmother and her friends in the audience, she is whisked away to the boogiest ball in panto-land.

Will she find her Prince Charming and her dream ending or will her wicked step-mother spoil the party?
